Welcome to mrs.emecks.com, my blog in which I share some of my favourite and tastiest recipes as well as reviewing other people’s recipes, kitchen implements and a particular favourite of mine, indoor herb gardening.

My husband just invited me to a fabulous Italian take away pizza. Absolutely delicious!

This got me thinking, I do not have the perfect pizza recipe yet and would love to get some to try out, if you have a favourite pizza recipe please do let me know. I will certainly give this one a try 500 Pizzas and Flatbreads.

“So why not share your favourite recipes with others?” Well, that’s what my husband said and then built this blog for me, he’s good at stuff like that. So if the blog doesn’t work it is his fault. But if you like the recipes and posts, well that’s all my fault!

I will add categories as I go, introducing new ones as I introduce new topics - maybe there will be hundreds some day, who knows?

Being a vegetarian for 16 years now but cooking for a meat eater can be a wee bit challenging at times but it is not impossible! Obviously I am not a vegetarian evangelist and will point out which dishes work well with meat too whenever I remember…
